In southern Idaho, my "pre-spring" work starts with cold mornings, tree & shrub pruning and a few early landscaping projects during January & February. By St. Patrick’s Day in March, I’m starting to turn on sprinkler systems all around the Magic Valley. It quickly becomes a very busy time of turn-ons and related sprinkler repairs, and all major projects are moved forward to mid-May while we get everybody’s water up and running for the year.
Our Spring Turn-On, Set-Up & Inspection service is a complete service that gets your sprinklers up and going for the year. While I’m there I also check for leaks, clean and adjust the sprinkler heads for optimal coverage, and make sure your controller is programmed with the proper watering schedule. It can also be a good time to get your backflow assembly tested as an added service. If there’s anything I notice that could be better, I’ll suggest improvements that we could make before the heat of summer hits your lawn & landscape, and schedule those improvements for late May or early June.
I also help the “do-it-yourself” home-owner. My service truck is stocked with over 10,000 sprinkler parts, which I can deliver to your home along with a little consultation for your efforts!
